PICTURE DAY on June 12
1. Please arrive at the dance studio with hair up and makeup on.
2. Le Corsaire, Gavotte and Petite Ballerina must wear your ballet pink tights to the studio.

Final 2018 Recital Information “Music and Dance Through the Ages” Picture and Performance Guidelines: Arrive on time for pictures, rehearsal and performance (don’t slow the show!) NO jewelry NO glitter, nail polish or tattoos RED LIPSTICK on stage Hair neatly done with no bangs or wispies (no colored hair accessories) Clean, footed tights with no holes Bring shoes, bobby pins, hair spray Name marked in all shoes Picture Day: Each family will receive a schedule for photo day held on June 12. Time shown is arrival time with photos being shot 30 minutes later. Siblings and extra family are not allowed into the studio on Picture Day. All students will be photographed, and parents may view pictures online before ordering. Miss Dorothy will be collecting emails from each family. Preorders are available if you choose not to go the online route. Ballet students should arrive in tights with hair and makeup done and no jewelry, nail polish or tattoos visible. Volunteer Sign Up: Sign up sheet is in the lobby. Volunteers do not need to purchase a ticket! I still need help to move the floor to and from Greer. DVD Order: Thank you to those who have already placed your order. Remember…NO photography or filming is allowed during the performance. Enjoy the moment and allow others to as well. Tickets: Tickets are on sale now from Miss Dorothy. Reminder that there are NO ticket sales at the door. Dress Rehearsal: Dancers must be at Greer Elementary (248 West A St) at 10:15 am to prepare for the Dress Rehearsal. Old tights are ok but hair, makeup and RED lipstick is a must. NO JEWELRY is to be worn, so please leave it at home. The rehearsal begins at 11:00 am. Students may leave when they are finished with all their dances or may stay and watch the rehearsal quietly. They will be chaperoned until they are picked up. Recital: Dancers MUST be back at Greer at 6:00 pm to meet their chaperones at Room 28. The auditorium will open at 6:30 for seating for the 7:00 pm show. Dancers will remain backstage during the recital and appear at the end of the show for a final bow. Hair and Costume Requirements: All Creative Movement and Ballet classes: ballet bun, pink ballet shoes, pink tights (except Circle Dance) Ballet, Pre-Ballet & Creative Movement with Tap: Tap shoes! Jazz/Hip Hop: black dance shoes with black socks or no socks, hair in neat pony tail Miss Dorothy
