First Annual Bring
A Friend Week |

Galt Dance Center will be
hosting its first annual Bring a Friend Week.
Students are encouraged to bring a friend to class
the week of April 24-27 to join in class and
learn more about dance and our studio. Invitations
will be issued to each dancer to give to a friend
and to spread the joy of dance during National Dance
Week!
|
Students should arrive on
time for classes. Late students miss warm-ups,
technique practice and distract other dancers when
they walk in late.
Students should have their own shoes by now.
The lobby shoes are not to replace ownership but
merely to be a back up when students misplace
theirs. Parents also check to make sure your child’s
shoes fit properly. Some feet have been growing a
lot lately!!!
Students and guests
please be courteous when entering the studio or
preparing to leave. If a class is in session please
keep the noise down in the hall or lobby. |

Most classes have finished
learning the choreography for their dances! It is
important that students come to class each week
to practice their steps and memorize their
dances. If a student is not able to dance but is
not contagious, they must come to class and
observe rehearsal in order to learn the corrections,
changes, arm placements that are taught in class. |
Costumes are beginning to
arrive and I need wire hangers to prepare and
organize them. If you have any hangers available
please send them with your student!

Our performance time on the
main stage has been set for 1:00 p.m. on
Saturday, May 20. The time is not guaranteed but
is not expected to change. |
