Dorothy Delgado, the owner of the Galt Dance Center, has been teaching dance for over 30 years. Her dance experience began with several years of instruction at the San Francisco Ballet School and with Winifred Gilmore in Orinda, California. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees in Dance at the University of California, Irvine.

After moving to Sacramento in 1986, she taught at numerous dance studios in the area before opening her Galt studio in 1994. She finds joy in teaching her students new steps and dance techniques and in seeing their self-confidence grow as they learn and improve.

Miss Dorothy has taught over 1200 Galt area students ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap and creative movement and serves many students as a Senior Project mentor and Home School vendor.
